I was not going to share my views on my other best friend's wedding, but a phone call in the morning changed everything.

Just pouring over the morning paper when I received a call on my mobile. This gal shares her surname with a famous bollywood heartthrob. (Ye ishara kaafi hai)
She went on and on for 15 minutes regarding her new found love. I am so excited, I am so happy etc. etc... We discussed all the plans for her marriage except for the colour of her nail polish and her honeymoon destination!

Btw I still do not understand this funda of honeymoon. I guess this would be the topic of my next blog. Anways I wish her all the best!

I called up my sister then and she had a hearty life. She assured me that I would be lucky the fourth time.

Fourth time! So all of you'll who bother to read the poor man's blog, there is another kadi in this episode. This I shall reveal only if I get some requests!

Sorry Akki! I guess I have already told you what I felt about it. Anways I have just come back from Aurangabad. Thank God the rains have stopped!
Water, water everywhere.
Last two weeks have been very hectic. Have been running into all kinds of problems..... drill broken, inserts not working, price discussion,crushes getting engaged etc etc. Got to catch a movie tomorrow. Planning to see 'Yahaan". I find the heroine (forgot her name), very pretty.

Beefy Flintoff really whacked the aussies. Hope the poms can make a match out of this.

Hope to be more regular with my posts now.

Feels so good to be back in Aamchi Pune!
I drove down at a decent speed of 80kmph. A few more trips and I should have my full confidence back.
Received a mail from a friend of mine. She is getting married next year and is tensed about it. Now friends I have a big crush on her. So I felt like telling her, dump him and come to me.............
It reminds me of Julia Robert's role in "My best Friend's wedding".
So what do I tell her!
"Finding a life partner who really loves you is a very difficult thing. You should be happy of the fact that you have found the man of your dreams. Don't worry everything will be alright."

Gosh! Why does this happen to me only! Anyway I can see myself at the ceremony dressed in my grey suit with a striped tie and a bouquet in my hand, there she somes down looking gorgeous in her red saree, she gives me a tender smile and introduces me to her husband, we shake hands, I gift her the bouquet and make my way out, slowly I am lost in the large crowd, I hold back my tears, sit in my car and drive away............................

On a Lazy Saturday Morning....

The kops have gone past TNS! Stevie's hatrick augers well for the rest of the season.
I am contemplating what to have for lunch! Too lazy to cook anything. Will probably go to Chhaaya and have my favourite fish rice.
The presentation has gone off well. Should be able to get a decent order.
Monday morning I leave for Aurangabad. The last time I was coming back I met with an accident. Car was totally damaged. Seat belts which saved me. Frankly I am a bit scared to drive again on that highway. But then life goes on. Have to exorcise all those demons going on in my mind.

My first Post

First I clear the reason behind naming it 'Banna's Lair'. Well Banna is my pet name and lair coz I cud think of nothing else.
So what do I write. I have got into a very mundane routine now.
Get up, take my laptop, start my car, drive and visit some poor unsuspecting bakra. After I am done with him again start my car, drive and err.... drive somebody else mad.
Then have lunch, start my car, drive and kill somebody's afternoon. Finally I go to office in the evening/ late afternoon, check my pigeon box, mail, start my car and reach.... oops.... drive and then reach home.
Since last one year I have clocked more than 30000 kms on my gaddi.
Planning something different for the weekend. See Parineeta.
Have an important presentation tomorrow. If all goes well I may bag a 0.4 MINR order or else end up with an egg on my face.
Hmm.... other important things that are going on... Le Tour De France. Way to go Lance. He is a real champion. Thank god Gerrard is with the Kops yet. Pray they don't lose to the Welsh minnows though!
